Isn’t it strange that you can live in a town for years and not see things.
I was walking from West Castle St towards Costa Coffee and noticed a plaque about “Newmarket Buildings” built by the Corporation with a view to moving the market there from the High St. However when it was completed the market traders refused to move in to it, “despite strong-arm tactics from the Corporation”. They wished to remain in the High St as they had for centuries.
Nothing changes does it!!
