Who is Bessie Stein???
The History;….. In April 2013 the council indicated that they had money to ‘revitalise’ our 900 year old independent Saturday market. Amid great outcry we set up a website- started collected signatures – and generally headed the Council off at the pass. The money was then allocated to a steering group -who then allocated money to …shop front grants…etc…and a Park & Ride ( and don’t even start me on that one!)
Bessie Stein joined our group and was a great supporter of the market and came up with some valuable suggestions. Then- to cut a long story short the persona of ‘Bessie Stein’ was hijacked. Her posts became vitriolic and from the posts gave mis-information about our group. Eventually, not knowing who these posts were from she was banned . The real Bessie Stein stopped posting but the false one continued on other Facebook pages. Who was doing this? Who had taken over ‘Bessie Stein’? Or was it a gigantic double bluff?
Then I understand that Facebook were informed. The police were contacted. Investigations began.
Eventually, it is alleged that by a lot of digital machinations ‘Bessie Stein’ was tracked down by GPS and such to a house near Bridgnorth.
If this is true then I think we deserve to know who this person is. Of course tracking down to a house doesn’t actually tell you who was posting. It could be a vagabond regularly breaking in and using the computer…. or was it the Russian mafia targeting Bridgnorth?…..
