I know the details of the proposed Park and Ride initiative and I think it would be a viable project. Parking is starting to become a big problem in Bridgnorth, especially on Saturdays, and parking charges and fines do not benefit Bridgnorth Town. Poor facilities discourage visitors from visiting for whatever reason and word soon spreads to their communities.
The plans for Saturdays only at the moment and the proposed route around Bridgnorth, including Low Town, would be a huge benefit for residents, traders and visitors.
All the background work and plans have been done, even to vehicle and driver costs and access.
So are there any benefactors or entrepreneurs who can see an opportunity here for this worthwhile project willing to support this trial?
